If you feel that your General Asssistance-Transitional Assistance has been unjustly denied or terminated you have the right to appeal for a fair hearing to the Champaign County Public Aid Committee within 60 days after the decision of the local office.
If you wish to appeal, the City of Champaign Township office or the Office of the Champaign County Board, 1776 E. Washington, Urbana, can supply you with an appeal form. You can receive help from the City of Champaign Township office or from the Champaign County Board office in filling out this form.
